We've had a Boston Terrier for 11 months it's been great w/ kids
and relatively easy overall. Affectionate, smart, doesn't need a lot of exercise. Doesn't bark and no hair cuts needed. Also gets along with our 3 yr old cat.
We got one from a breeder that had a 15 lb female and a 16 lb male. We're happy with how small it is (about 13 lbs now).
