I love Japan, but as that is out, I’d suggest a couple days in Hong Kong if you can manage it. It’s a beautiful city, with a lot to do. Can be expensive, though.

I particularly enjoyed the Ngong Ping Sky tram. It’s a half a day thing I’m so glad I did.
