I could go either way. I can see some value in condemning various Utes, but I don't know how much a public reprimand helps or is necessary.
I think one major lesson of the last few years is that what I used to think of as decent behavior where people would apologize, resign or reprimand their own organizations, I now view as foolishly captitulating to an online mob that will neither give you credit nor like you no matter what. (Just one example: a few years ago when Gov. Northam of Virginia refused to resign after photos of him in blackface surfaced.)
I think this total lack of shame is a bad development for our culture, but the most brazen and grubby people have ascended to the highest peaks of power and prestige. It's hard to see why I should curtail my career at the behest of my own enemies. (To be fair, I am so obscure I have no enemies, haha.)
