It’s much more likely both were true. It was a ba offensive line and Slovis was a bad QB
He transferred multiple times for a reason. He got worse at each stop for a reason. He put up decent numbers with an NFL WR group at USC and seemingly got worse each year.
Sure, the OL was bad. But pretending we can’t evaluate him at all because of that is also not good. We can do both! And he stunk.
