1. Play the entire tournament before the regular season starts as the intro to the new basketball season.

2. Each group (or division) plays all their group games in one city to eliminate travel between games.

3. Have the host cities be non-NBA cities to give possible future expansion cities the chance to "audition" themselves and rotate some years playing in Europe or other parts of the world. I think it would be a good way to grow the game and a show of goodwill to the fans in non-NBA cities.

4. Have the all the knockout games in one location.
