In Kalani's 9 yr history at BYU he has:
2 bad seasons (5 or fewer wins)
3 mediocre seasons (6-7 wins)
1 good season (8-9 wins)
3 excellent seasons (10+ wins), one of which is the COVID year
Does 10-2 signal we are on the right track or is it a flash in the pan and things will continue as they have under Kalani?
For me, I think that following the trend means about half the time a bad or mediocre season with a good/excellent season the other half of the time. Not too bad if the overall trend continues, but maybe things will improve as more funds pour into the program? We are in year 2 of B12 play, so maybe we will see more than modest improvements in recruiting and better coaching.
