I've just been doing HYSA, but kind of regret it.
Since you can get 4-5% these days it seemed smart. Especially since I was maxing out the 401k, HSA, IRA, and investing some additional money. My wife is also very conservative, and I have a hard time convincing her to invest the money she isn't spending, so into the bank it goes. Meanwhile the SP500 is up like 60% over the past two years. Oh well.
