See my response about Langi. Not a big signing bones, but guarantees that basically assured he was at least going to make the PS.
For reference, unga drafted in the supplemental 7th round about 7 years earlier got 56 K signing bonus. Now 7th round picks are getting over 100 K signing bonus typically, and their contract isn’t usually guaranteed, so still better than UDFA.
The advantage of UDFA is you get to pick the team that you think has the best fit and possible need to actually make a roster spot
