Working in the schools is still quite a bit different - in the district I

work in, we’re contracted for 185 days total. So we have the 2 (plus a week or so) months of summer break, and then fall, thanksgiving, Christmas, and spring breaks, plus other federal holidays. Then for a new employee you have 8 days of PTO between sick and personal leave.
