KY mentioned defensive improvements in the postgame of both games last week
He said that after the Providence game, the staff made a point of emphasizing (and re-emphasizing) the defensive standard. It seems that message was heard.
Not that Fresno or Wyoming are great teams, but the defensive performances against those teams was noticeably better than other games this year.
