I don't follow. College players have been paid for decades. Literally every 4 or 5 star player who wanted to get paid
has been paid.
Your nostalgia for the good old days seems misplaced to me. There were no good old days. John Wooden won because he paid his players the most. Coach K? Same thing. Nick Saban? Same thing and he actually left football once he realized the playing field had been leveled by NIL.
NIL is so good for college sports. I love it.
