No but they were MUCH more impressive and on a MUCH better trajectory
NC state ended up as a final four team so that win ended up much better. We also drubbed ASU which was a Q2 game.
Being top 4 in NET going into conference is a different situation than being #48.
One team was a tourney lock nearly the entire season. This team is on the wrong side of the bubble right now.
