Okay, I love Sufjan's albums. Star of Wonder is amazing. His version of
Oh Holy Night is my number 1 version of that song. Sister Winter is fantastic.
I love the Low Christmas album as well. If You Were Born Today is a top 10 christmas song for me. All time.
But War is Over is a total classic. I love it. Sufjan and Low and artists like that are more underground. War is Over is John Lennon.
I guess by "modern," I just mean that it's not "crooner" christmas. So much christmas music is old crooner stuff. I like that stuff, but I like post-1960s rock and pop music more.
