1. Catchings can FLY. I haven't seen a BYU player who skys as high as he does in a very long time. He's young and skinny and could truly benefit from an additional year alongside AJ (please🤞) but he has the skill. He has great handles as well.

2. AJ and the staff had known for a while he was coming to BYU. He was already familiar with the entire team and walked off with them afterwards to the locker room. He looked like he was basically already on the team. He is a BYU guy and is 100% bought into the culture surrounding BYU sports. He was flashing shakas to the ROC and even joined them during Turbulence! Obviously the money played a big role in his decision, but I don't think it's fluff when he talks about the other reasons he chose BYU.

Other side notes
-Keita can become Fous 2.0
-Crawford looks raw but has potential
-When Knell is feeling it from 3, get him the ball
-AJ & Kalani were talking for a bit after the game as well. Looked to have good rapport already. Will be interesting to see how both BB & FB support each other in terms of BYU's overall recruiting image.
-Ryan Smith and Will Hardy both court side. What other NCAA team has an NBA owner & head coach just casually sitting court side for on a random Wednesday-night game against Fresno? Unreal!
