With this much talent fighting for time, are our guys just pushing too much trying to establish themselves.
We obviously have a lot of talent. Some of our struggles are that it’s a largely new team, with a new staff, and a new system. Even our returning core is having to find their fit in the team a little again.

It’s early in the season and everyone is fighting to separate themselves and guarantee playing time come the Big 12 schedule.

Everyone feels they need to prove themselves. We have two “blue chip” freshman that demand time, a couple other 4 star freshman, some transfers, Euro big, and even our returning players, all playing under a new coaching staff and in a new system. We know they need more time to gel as a team. Hopefully we get there before the conference portion of our schedule.

Seems like everyone is playing a little too tight, trying a bit too hard, and just needs to relax a bit.

At least this is what my vast knowledge of basketball has taught me. (only played church ball and sucked at even that level)
