Had this much despair. I’m surrounded by them at work and neighbors and I’ve heard and listened to their obnoxious smack talk for years and at THIS very moment they seem to be realizing the incredible advantages they had over us by being in a power conference are poof gone and reality is starting to set in for many of them! No smack talk at all 100% serious they seem very subdued and in the dumps. Many are getting a harsh reality check that Cougs are taking it to a new level and the tides are turning and they can’t stop it. All those big advantages they had and rubbed in our face are a thing of the past! I can’t feel sorry for them and never will, as I’m reminded of how awful and full of themselves many of them got. How many times over the years wearing my BYU gear here I got unsolicited BS comments from their fans many of whom were bandwagon fans but very vocal and nasty and dismissive of the Cougs. As a Non-LDS fan most people I know are Utah fans and they have hated even more my loyalty it bugs them to no end! I’m reminded of how many went out of their way to say something awful bashing BYU. I’m enjoying their reality check meltdown and I’m not afraid to admit it! I’m loving this!!! I’m not going to behave like them but I’m not in the least bit sad for them!!! Go Cougs!!!
