I read most drivers log about 500 miles a day
Tesla Semi would cover that. Many just have shorter routes in cities. I think this is who Tesla is targeting.

You make good points about very long routes.

"Those trucks hold over 100 gallons of fuel, they get about 10 mpg, and can go over 1000miles on a tank of gas." This is also a reason truck companies are looking into electric vehicles. They hope to get thier costs down.

It will be interesting to see how it plays out.
