Visions of fade routes and doinks off helmets will be dancing in my head all
holiday season.
And yes, who can't be pleased with the 10-2 record, smashing pre-season projections, beating a top 10 team at their place, and beating Utah at RES. Those are things that we dream about almost every year.
But.....in addition to an amazing season, there was ALSO one of the biggest missed opportunities in BYU history to keep swallowing. No matter how much I should (and do) acknowledge an amazing season overall, that missed opportunity "bolus" just keeps welling up in my throat, even if I try to tamp / swallow it down will the 10-2 elixir.
