that cover the sport as a whole.
Right now everyone is campaigning to get in or stay in, so there's certainly noise from each top-20 fanbase. But overally, the concern is mostly focused on the correct rank-ordering of Alabama - Ole Miss - South Carolina - Miami (and where SMU falls in that mix if they lose to Clemson).
I consume hours of CFB content each week, and it's been several weeks (and several losses to Kansas) since I've heard a single minute of content that claims that the loser of the Big XII game (or any other team from the Big XII logjam in the high teens) should be in the playoff.

Keep saying this. B12 is punished this year due to polls being so horribly wrong at start of season.
