Did the school not apologize?
This was the student section chanting for a few minutes. Totally disrespectful, but they are just kids.
It's an opportunity to play for the current #1 program in the nation while also cashing in versus coming to BYU? I don't blame a kid for taking all the opportunities at Oregon. BYU is a great place, but it's not a program that will really compete for a national championship. It's also not a program that is going to pay big money for kids...at least it doesn't appear to be going that route in football. Also, if a kid isn't 100% bought in to church things, then what is the draw for them?
I love BYU, but there are lots of great routes a kid can go.
