We also threw the ball 41 less times this year compared to last. Historical comparisons are pointless IMO since our
SOS has changed a lot. You have to start a new baseline starting with last year.
We threw the ball much more last year because we couldn't run the ball at all. Continual improvement of our OL will lead to better passing numbers as teams won't be able to blitz as much on 3rd down because we shouldn't be in as many 3rd and long situations.
