It was funny. It was in a hotel and I sat down in the restaurant by the TV showing the game and asked if I could watch with him and his buddy. They said, "sure, we actually want BYU to win anyway." Why? Because they're really upset with Gundy and were looking for him to utterly fail so that they could fire him despite his buyout. The problems the boosters have with Gundy:
- he's stand offish with boosters
- struggles with modern NIL recruiting
- doesn't seem to adapt to modern college football.

Anyway, it was interesting to watch the game with them and hear their perspective. They made it sound like people have been upset about Gundy behind the scenes for a while.
