I was stunned we were able to cut the game down to a 3 bucket game twice.
And both times Providence was able to turn around and push the lead back in a minute or less.
Usually when good teams are able to cut a lead to single digits, you see defense tighten up as adrenaline gives them more life as the game is back within reach.
That didn’t happen at all. Defense immediately bent over and let the game get out of hand again.
