when he mentioned he witness FAR more anti-mormonism at visiting arenas than anti-semitism, and he was surprised at how commonplace it seemed and how our players "shrugged it off" so easily.
I know that KY has brought in a lot of new players, players outside the "typical" BYU recruiting circle. I'm hoping that their experience with their teammates and with classmates contrasting with this antagonistic behavior from visiting fans is a bit eye-opening, or at the very least, generates some awareness and sympathy. Not from a "woe is me" standpoint, but more from a "Hey, those Mormons arent that bad, this isnt deserved." Perhaps even shining a positive light on the church and its members. In its own way, it serving a bit as missionary work.
