The rules & criteria should be laid out ahead of time and publicized for all to see, no more of this "Team A passes the eye test more than Team B" crap where the committee does whatever the heck they want and then gives nonsensical reasons to defend their decisions.

Stuff like:
--Strength of schedule
--Strength of record
--RPI rating (or some other objective formula)
--Number of quad 1, 2, 3 wins & losses (like they do in basketball)
