Never purchase tickets for a future event that BYU is not 100% playing in ever again! I was so sure that BYU was going to play in the CCG that I purchased seven tickets right before the Kansas game. Then, it seems that everything needing to happen to keep BYU from the CCG them fell in line. I felt like a sports gambling addict during the BYU/Houston game as I simultaneously watched KSU lose to Iowa. Once that occurred, I was irritated at the prospect of having to sell the tickets. Unfortunately, it seems that the demand for tickets just isn't the same when BYU is not at the party.
I have tried several avenues to sell the tickets (including ticket-selling services) and went on forums for ISU and ASU. No response at all from ASU, but when I posted on the ISU forum I got flagged as a scam and was banned from the site. (I guess there is some kind of process there to "qualify" to sell tickets that I did not follow. So, I got "banned" before getting to first base - but only after taking some abuse from the ISU peanut gallery.)
So, it's Wednesday and I'm holding seven tickets for the CCG. It's a bit depressing. I'm open to suggestions if anyone out there has any ticket-selling ideas.
