They weren't in the discussion to begin with. We honestly got more respect
in the MW days. No justifiable reason to rank Tulane ahead of BYU — If BYU had a different logo they'd be at least in the mix.
The committee needs to have a more objective way of using the metrics -(similar to how cbb does it)
right now it is just double standard after double standard.
Boise St. squeaks by Wyoming and they say "wow, we have coaches that have played there and it is tough and yeah it was close, but what we really value is winning". Then in evaluating a different team only style points matter. Can't have it both ways.
