I haven't achieved that level of perfect knowledge yet. And therefore it's still frustrating to me when I unknowingly get got.

I don't think ignorance is an excuse to break the law, but I do think punishments and fines for breaking laws should be less severe in cases like this. These guys could teach me the exact same lesson for a lot less stiff of a fine.

Now you're speeding, on The other hand, they probably need to make the fine more so that you stop doing it.
