I guess you can't really know, but if the company is following laws, 1. All of it goes to the
charity. They may be giving it to a charity that is a lame charity and only 10% does any good, but the company can't just keep 90% and call it a "processing fee" or something.

2. They don't get to write-off what you gave and take it as a tax deduction. That's not how it works.

Again, if we are talking about a sleazy company, maybe they aren't following laws.
