I have Crohn’s, so these things happen. They hospitalized me the night before the BYU Utah game, even as I was trying to hold out until Sunday, and had to watch it from the hospital bed. BYU won and I was glad that the blood pressure injections and pain meds were readily available that night.
I got home right before the Kansas loss and had to let my niece use my season tickets, so I was working hard to be strong enough to go to the Houston game. Unfortunately, I had a fever and night sweats the night before game, and my RN wife put an end to my hopes of using our tickets. Not only was it going to be too cold, I knew she was right and I couldn’t make the 200 mile round trip that we usually do. I was just glad that they won.
