I don’t know what struggles you’re talking about.
BYU lost, but competed until the final minute, against both ASU and Kansas. Interceptions tanked the go-ahead TD in both games.
That was similar (having close games) to what they did against Utah, Oklahoma State, SMU, and Baylor.
I just don’t see the drop off that you’re referring to.
