What industries do you see being disrupted by AI/automation within 10 years?
The linked thread got me thinking about industries that are likely to be disrupted or displace most workers in them. I think these are the first low hanging fruit:
Customer Service (some say Turing test has been passed, others say another 5 years maybe)
Transport (autonomous truck rigs)
Taxi/Rideshare (autonomous vehicles)
I see other things happening with computer vision and automation that seem to be evolving quickly. Here are some robots folding laundry:
FOLD! FOLD! FOLD! An overnight timelapse of one of our live deployments teleoperated from over 7000 miles away. Our robots fold 24/7/365 with no human intervention, handling long-tail edge cases with no downtime. pic.twitter.com/pZa5K4CTWn
