He has not been happy with the UNM admin and university support. That much I know for certain.

A couple other thoughts:

- UNM made an AD change very recently - MAYBE in an attempt to keep Bronco at UNM. It would really hurt to lose Bronco so soon.

- Bronco is a quirky guy that nobody can really figure out, but USU seems like a pretty compelling school for Bronco. He would do really well recruiting the Utah & LDS kids “passed over” by BYU and Utah. And there’s enough of those kids to field a really solid team. He would do well at USU.

- Having said that, I agree with others who have questioned whether he and Holly really want to step back into the Utah media bubble. I wouldn’t if I was him… but then again, Bronco rarely does what most of us would do.
