That said, ARod clearly is a good OC, he teaches well, coaches well, and people think it's easy to call plays. It's very very difficult, you have groupings for certain scenarios, but then you have to tailor that to the defensive looks and tendencies. And you get all of 10-15 seconds after the last play to call it down to your QB and the signal guys. And then as you see the defense set up, you might need to call down a whole new play.
I don't envy that job. I'm hoping since we will finally have the luxury of a incumbent Sr QB next season, we see more of what we saw Zach's senior season where ARod had given him some flexibility to change into a set of plays depending on the looks he saw.
