I battle hearing loss, tinnitus, ear pressure issues, et cetera, et cetera.
During the football game last night, my left ear suddenly felt even more weird than it normally does.
A new louder, higher pitched ringing joined the normal ringing and it feels like I've got a cotton ball stuffed deep into my ear. I can hardly hear anything out of that ear other than the ringing.
Some people may experience that sort of thing and expect it to just go away after a few hours or a couple of days.
With my history, however, I assume it's my new normal that I'll suffer until I finally drop dead.
Flying to Dallas this weekend surely won't help. Airplanes always mess up my head even worse.
I generally have a positive attitude, but my ear issues sometimes make me hate my miserable life.
