I prefer earbuds for anything standing up. Over the ear are just too big and cumbersome.
I have some really nice wired overear headphones that I use for when I'm at my computer or listening critically to anything. My Airpods get used most of the time though because they are with me all the time and work anywhere I need (Gym, yard work, work-work, etc).
