Why was the pickup area seemingly at full capacity the moment the airport opened? What's it going to be like in 20 years when the airport gets bigger?

Why does the airport feel so generic? If you're building from the ground up, why not put a little more effort into making it feel distinct and beautiful?

And related to the big issue mentioned in this thread, I feel the airport could still use an air train or some other way to get more quickly from one part of the airport to the other.
