Then in 2020 and 2021, we were 10-1 and 10-2 heading into the final regular season AP poll, and we ranked 13th and 12th.

Those years (excluding 2021) were very weak schedules against predominantly G5 MWC competition, and then a complete cupcake schedule in 2020. The average AP ranking for those 6 seasons in question at this exact point of the season? #16.

Now fast forward to this year. Playing in a P4 league, beating 8 P4 teams including the ACC’s top team #8 SMU on the road. 10-2 just as in years past. Surely we’d get a bump right?

Nope. #17. Basically same level of respect as MWC and Indy years. What gives??
