O and D are both improving rapidly. Not guaranteeing that continues, but recruiting is picking up. Money is increasing with full share next year. Winning should improve recruiting and donor interest in supporting NIL… seems like it would be reasonable to have hope for continued, even increasing success.
Plus BYU will have back many? most? of the most important O players. Jake will be back. Parker, LJ, S. Moa, Chase can come back, Keelan and JoJo coming back. On D Glasker, Jack K., Wall, Wakley, Taggart, Prassas, Satuala... All coming back, I think.
Players that were recognized on Senior Night (does not mean leaving the team):
Isaiah Bagnah DE not sure if eligibility left
Mory Bamba CB has eligibility left, not likely NFL
Tyler Batty DE not sure if eligibility left. I don't think can come back
Gerry Bohanon QB No impact on the team, except leadership and depth
Marque Collins CB not sure if eligibility left
Sam Dawe OL has eligibility left, not likely NFL this draft
Caleb Etienne OL not sure if eligibility left
Mason Fakahua TE not sure if eligibility left, but little impact if leaves
Cade Fennegan QB already retired, right? Didn't play this year
Keanu Hill TE not sure if eligibility left, but not as effective this year as previous years
Brayden Keim OL not sure if eligibility left
Darius Lassiter WR not sure if eligibility left
Logan Lutui DE not sure if eligibility left
Blake Mangelson DT not sure if eligibility left
John Nelson DT not sure if eligibility left
Ray Paulo TE not sure if eligibility left, but little impact if leaving
Connor Pay OL not sure if eligibility left, but probably leaving regardless. Could make an NFL roster
Jakob Robinson CB not sure if eligibility left, but will be a big loss if not coming back
Hinckley Ropati RB not sure if eligibility left, but I think Moa will be better next year than HR was this year
Mata'ava Ta'ase TE not sure if eligibility left, but not a huge loss if leaving
