actually iowa state went 9-3 in 2020, beat both OU and texas, and won a NY6 bowl
while OU won the rematch in the CCG, they still likely finish with 10 wins with a full 14 games that year instead of 12. their rise doesn’t coincide with OU and texas leaving.
