A few years ago we had some friends over for thanksgiving. They lived a few
Hours away so they came early and we made the meal together. The friend insisted she make the turkey.
She used the standard seasonings, but then put 6 sticks of butter between the meat and the skin. When it cooked/melted the butter it washed all the seasonings away and the gravy was basically butter
