I make yams with butter, nutmeg and cinnamon and I use a pecan streusel over them vs marshmallows. I mean at this
point it's dessert so why pretend. However, I love using yams in cooking. Everything from breakfast hash, one of the color elements in a chili, even fresh if julienned as a starchier element in a Coleslaw.

Many different things can be made using yams and those things can be delicious
