My opinion is that he was essentially on an all-star team at Corner Canyon w/ all the recruiting they do, where the high level of talent surrounding himm made him look much better than maybe he is, now that the competition has been leveled up.
He doesn't make reads well yet (this could change), doesnt sense pressure well (rolls into sacks), but he's also short (being listed at 6' but I've seen him in real life and I would dispute that- prob more in the 5'10/11 range)
He also looks slow at running (Hilstead otoh runs a 10.9 100M and low 22 second 200M which is faster than our two best WR's) and has a cannon for an arm.
Another interesting tidbit is that Wilson and Hillstead faced off vs each other in the Utah State HS 6A Championship game in 2022 and Hillstead/Skyridge pulled out the win
