My IRA didn't offer hardware MFA. A few years ago I barked really hard at them
and they now finally offer it. I don't think I got them to make the change, but hopefully the pressure helped start a conversation.
I couldn't believe they would offer such poor service with so much at stake.

If you can you should setup a sim pin as well. Makes it a lot harder to be sim

I know too many people that used SMS for 2FA and have had accounts hijacked through sim swaps

Two more things to prevent this: 1) Use SIM protection; 2) Don't use Android
