Ive seen people with type 1 with just horrid control, cannot keep track of their blood sugars for the life of them get fairly well controlled A1Cs by simply having the Tslim combined with Dexcom and letting it do its thing. The automatic adjustments through the control iq do a fairly good job. They aren't going to get you all the way controlled, most of my patients who ONLY use the technology can get their A1C down to mid to low 8s, but they take a lot of work off your hands. It is a step in the right direction of grand idea of the automated external pancreas.
