BYU has no games against Prime, so every team that has played the Buffs have a huge advantage over BYU in ratings. In the late time slots, BYU has many of the best (top half) ratings for ESPN main Saturday late games. That game is higher rated than most late ESPN main games, but is the lowest BYU game of the year, except UCF was barely lower. ASU (and UCF) is a much bigger issue. I think that is ASU's best rating in the late window. Better than ASU vs. Utah. 25% better than ASU Miss. St., both on ESPN main. BYU was either ASU's 1st or 2nd highest rated game. ASU has several games under 1 million, even under 300k.
Only Saturday ESPN late games with better ratings than this game that weren't BYU games. No Utah games were better (not in order of ratings):
Miami vs. Cal
Colorado KState
Colorado Cincy
BYU Utah 2.07 m better than some of the above, barely lower than Buffs Cincy. Better than Miami Cal. All other Utah games were lower than 1 million on ESPN main late game.
Some Saturday late games on ESPN main were UNDER half a million.
Only BYU games BYU was lower rated were the first 3: SMU on ESPN2 (just under a million), S. Ill. unrated on ESPN+, Wyoming on CBSSN (unrated?) plus Baylor on FS1 (one of the highest rated FS1 games) and UCF was barely lower.
This game and UCF were the worst BYU rated games on ESPN main late, but are about the middle of ESPN late Saturday game ratings.
