You give the Big 12 its proper respect and guarantee them the #4 seed while also making it unlikely that the conference will get multiple teams in the playoff. The outrage is over the disrespect more than anything. G5s with no real resumes, ACC teams with no quality wins but 2 losses, and SEC teams with 3 losses, including bad losses, are the most irritating. Move the 2-loss B12 frontrunners past Boise, Tulane, Clemson, and the SEC 3 loss teams and everything settles down.
