I think we do quite a bit in modern society to bring awareness and find
solutions for obesity. The bigger problem in our society is that we have enabled poor diets and sedentary lifestyles.

But I simply can't put obesity in the same column as other "bad behaviors." It's just way to subjective. I have always been thin. So it was really weird for me when I had to take a medication that made me start to gain weight. It was crazy to feel the carb cravings and it was crazy how I could overeat and not feel stomach sick. A tiny pill and I was a completely different person physically. If that's how a lot of overweight people are experiencing life, then I have all the compassion in the world for them and would never judge them for not being able to stay on top of it.
