Back in the day (and was for like 100+ years) but now he just raises cattle and sells the beef. Albeit on a much smaller scale as the family has sold off or donated hundreds of acres to guv’mnt.

You would think he’d enjoy a good steak the proper way, but nope. He likes it charred. I always bring and cook my own meat at their family bbqs and gatherings. So sad he puts in all that work to raise cattle just to burn it. I’m guessing the cow spirits on the other side of the veil are very angry.
