First, it wasn't a controversial call. Either the video evidence showed there was still time on the clock, or it didn't. Going ballistic over that or even thinking it could be argued was ridiculous.

And then even thinking he could threaten to just not have his team play? Okay, coach, your choice, but the ball will be put in play either way.



And again, why no comment from the B12? Is it because BYU would have to file a complaint? Seems like the B12 ought to be proactive in reprimanding a coach for actions that were clearly not okay. I'm not even talking about the irrational tirade that should have been flagged. I'm talking about a B12 HC standing at the head of a mob of fans and egged them on as they surrounded the head ref who was reviewing the play in a very clear and obvious attempt at intimidation. Not to mention the fact that his irrational fans could have very easily decided to physically attack the refs, having been egged on by the HC of their team.
